Yollada  Suanyot




Yollada "Nok" Suanyot, 29, transsexual singer and politician,
has achieved a historic election victory in Thailand . Competing as a non-party canditate,
the born as a man woman was successful  against the candidate of the local ruling party in the rural province of Nan and took over the main office in financial management.
Yollada, who was known as a show star of the transsexual girl group
"Venus Flytrap"
and a reality TV show about sex changes once,
is now the highest ranking transgender politician in Thailand. 
Transsexual people in the Southeast Asian country are still discriminated:
Yollada had to candidate for the election campaign by her male birth name.
