Gabrielle: Its just really nice to meet you. My name is Dru. Thanks for all the great photos. I am MTF but try and not define myself and rather live as we were meant to be. I am five nine and one forty eight. I am an artist= runner type. Mid aged and physically and mentally balanced. LIke you I love writing poetry and discovering something within myself. I discovered perhaps as you have that I never really was abrasive, competitive, aggressive and virile but rather loving, gentle, caring and someone who sees myself as very thin, happy, caring, generous and intelligent being.. Looking around our worlds we see some good people and also types we know we cannot be with. Perhaps values say alot.
I am hoping to find friends and be with those who share our views or way of being. One of my favorite writers says, "For non conformity society whips you with its displeasure". Over the years I discovered things like folk guitar, writing, drawing, photography and running and biking. Hiking in nature is also a favorite thing for me. I just wanted to say I am mid aged but take my appearance very seriously perhaps as you do. It is crucial for me to look great. I fortunately have a great face, skin, hair and body. I do apologize for not sending photos back as I am old school when it comes to computers. Not sure how to put photos up. I am proud of how I look. Often I meet others who at that first glance you realize they have not taken care of their bodies. Phyical appearance is a serious thing for me. I am a half marathon runner as well as a century bike rider. Thin is just crucial period. With that comes a personality and intelligence you just hope for that usually is not there when you meet new people. So I hope this picture of me is helpful for you. Well verbal picture.. Again I compliment you on a great profile and I also applaud your courage to live as you choose. I would love to hear from you. Friends are always fantastic to find. I drove to North Carolina in June where I had a fantastic experience with Sarah who is also on this site. It was a trip that I needed and things were confirmed from her to me.
