They came to terms with me being 'gay' however I think we all know I wasn't and to me I felt like a straight woman.

I thought I had it tough growing up in the bible belt of the south, and being gay. Yet I don't know struggle compared to many of you. Communities like this are the new struggle for equality, and I know it can get discouraging when you get dismissed, discounted, and even insulted or marginalized.
